On the other hand we don't host any thing anymore on cvs so bonsai ain't that critical anymore. Henrik what where you trying to lookup on bonsai ?
I think I see the bugzilla checkins there
Severity: major → normal
Bugzilla is mirrored there from bzr. You can also view the Bugzilla checkins at http://bzr.mozilla.org/bugzilla/trunk/changes

That said, bonsai has better searching, so a lot of people still use it anyway. I believe cvs is still the source of truth for the bugzilla.org and seamonkey-project.org websites, too.

I can't troubleshoot because I don't know where it's hosted anymore. The docs at https://mana.mozilla.org/wiki/display/websites/bonsai.mozilla.org never got updated when it moved out of SJC1 to wherever it moved to.
oulan:nodes ludo$ host bonsai.mozilla.org
bonsai.mozilla.org has address 63.245.215.55
Host bonsai.mozilla.org.home not found: 4(NOTIMP)
oulan:nodes ludo$ host 63.245.215.55
55.215.245.63.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer tinderbox-zlb.vips.scl3.mozilla.com.
next step at this point would be checking the apache logs to see if we get better error messages.

bonsai-www is apparently dead as well (which is where bugzilla.org and seamonkey-project.org actually live) and I'm hearing on IRC that it has been for a while. Have these ever worked since they moved out of SJC1?
actually, yeah, they have worked, I've used them (both) in the last month or so.
Bonsai-cvs is fixed.

A database was upgraded (bug 924492) and clicked over into "secure auth mode", which does not accept the old password format that Bonsai was using. Very simple fix, password updated and now using the new format.

I haven't looked at bonsai-www, but it's almost certainly the same problem. Can you elaborate on how to get to these services (FQDN)?

http://bonsai-www.mozilla.org/cvsquery.cgi?treeid=default&module=all&branch=HEAD&branchtype=match&dir=&file=&filetype=match&who=&whotype=match&sortby=Date&hours=2&date=month&mindate=&maxdate=&cvsroot=%2Fwww
Also fixed. Same problem.

There is also bonsai-l10n... also broke, same problem. Also fixed.

http://bonsai-l10n.mozilla.org/cvsquery.cgi?treeid=default&module=all&branch=HEAD&branchtype=match&dir=&file=&filetype=match&who=&whotype=match&sortby=Date&date=hours&hours=2&mindate=&maxdate=&cvsroot=%2Fl10n

Is that still in use? I guess I don't particularly care, but it would be nice to know.

Yes, we're still doing inquiries on historic contributions to l10n. Notably now as Mitchell called out to find the 1.0 contributors.
