From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.2+)
Gecko/20010728
BuildID: 2001072808
It would be nice if there is an uninstall icon in the program group created
during installation.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Install with mozilla-win32-installer-sea.exe
Actual Results: Only 3 icons (Mail, Mozilla, and Profile Manager) generated in
the program group.
Expected Results: An uninstall icon should be there.

The latest version of the Designed for Windows XP Application Specification
(available at http://www.microsoft.com/winlogo/downloads/AppSpec21.doc in
Microsoft Word format) states that "Best practice is to not place shortcuts to
remove the application in the Start menu. It is not needed because your
application?s uninstaller is in the Add or Remove Programs control panel
applet." (Section S4.1, page 68) It's not required to be able to use the
'Designed for Windows XP' logo (not that I think Mozilla/Netscape want to use
it, at least not until Microsoft starts putting up warnings when a user tries to
install non-logo apps like XP will for drivers), but it's "likely to be part of
the requirements for future logo programs."
Recommending WONTFIX.

Its not required, but its easier to access and another part of the guide
said: "If you have support applications, tools, or utilities associated with
your application, and you wish to publish these in the Start Menu, create a
single folder in the Start Menu as a peer of the icon to launch your
application and place them there."
Its also not a requirement, but a recommendation. Stability/etc is a
requirement. See bug 72254 for more info on that.
I am reinstating the uninstall icon using this recommendation by placing it in
the "Mozilla Tools" folder which will also contain Venkman, Profile Manager,
and Inspector.
See bug 192703 for more info on the updating of the start menu icons.

I don't think we'll fix this. Uninstalling applications should be done via the control panel (or whatever it's called nowadays).
