User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:0.9.2+) Gecko/20010728
BuildID: 2001072806
The back button does not work within the whole site.
The browser is alive, just hitting "back" has no
effect. Suppose you are at the above URL. The back
button does not work. The little history arrow under
the back button, when pressed, shows the history as
you'd expect; however, the "Go" in the menubar (between
"Search and "Bookmarks"), when clicked, has 2 or 3
entries for International Herald Tribune -- and you'd
expect only one. If you click any of the other
I.H.T. items in the list beneath "Go", nothing happens.
If you click any item below I.H.T., you can get out
of the site. Afterwards, the browser functions normally,
AFAICS.
When you are at www.iht.com, you can read the articles
normally. The problem with the back navigation stays.
You have to use the history, and, *if* you use "Go"
in the menubar, you see 3 (or 2) items per every page
within www.iht.com that you've visited.
The Forward navigation fails, too. If you go back (with
the history), you can see the forward button as highlighted.
However, if you click it, you don't move forward; rather,
it stops being highlighted, and the `forward' history items
that you saw before are not to be seen any more. Likewise,
if you attempt to move forward with the history, you don't
move, and the forward items in the history list disappear.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load http://www.iht.com
2. Try to move back with the button. Failure.
3. Open the "Go" in the menubar. There are
2 or 3 items called "International Herald Tribune".
Click any of them - no effect.
4. Click on an article.
5. Observe that in the list beneath "Go" 2 or 3
new items appeared, all corrsponding to the
current page.
6. Click in the history on the site just before I.H.T.
7. Using either history of the forward button, go
forward.
8. The forward button is still highlighted, corresponding
to the article within i.h.t. that you chose at step 4. When
you click forward, either the button, or in the history,
the button stops being highlighted, without any movement
forward; the forward history disappears in the lists
(either below the forward button, or beneath "Go").
Actual Results: See above
Expected Results: Normal navigation within the site
It seems the site uses heavily Javascript

Same problem here with 2001072711 under Macos 8.6
Also this web site cause the same problem:
http://www.movie-list.com/ go to any trailer page and *sometime* the back button
stop working. FYI: The same problem happens in NS4.7x.
