Running Android 2.3.3, Nightly (10/17), the new-new-about:home backgrounds appear gray - see the attached screenshots.

This looks weird scrolling to the Reading List page (all white), to Bookmarks (white list entries), and back to Top Sites (gray except for thumbnails).
Forgot to mention, this is probably an Android version issue and we should change the title of this bug once we figure out which versions it is.

The device I tested on is a Motorola Droid 2.
Ian, I presume the backgrounds should be white, like the new-new-about:home screen on more recent versions of Android?

We've seen this in our AppThwack runs [1], this is only reproducible on Android 2.3 (MotoBlur) on Motorola devices.

Gah... yes, those should be white, not grey paper towel pattern ;)

This also is also an issue on my Motorola Atrix running 2.3, although the background only appears below the lists, where there is no content.
