When I install 1.2 from http://downloads.geeksphone.com/keon/v1.2/latest_v1.2.html on my Geeksphone Keon I get 1.1 as update…

Just tested it. It works ok for me. Did you keep your data? If you like, open a thread in our forum (forum.geeksphone.com) to see what is the problem.

Maybe it was poor wording on my side, sorry. After I successfully installed 1.2 from package at http://downloads.geeksphone.com/keon/v1.2/latest_v1.2.html (without keeping data) I checked some time later in settings for updates and I got ota update notification. After installing ota update and forced phone reboot I saw ftu and system in version 1.1 and all user data removed.

This problem is caused because internal sdcard is not found. This bug is fixed in tonight image. Try it tomorrow and next day update should work. If it dont work reply here and will see why it's failing in your case.

I'm not sure what internal sdcard really means but in order to test this properly I need to install 1.2 build with 2013-10-21 as date (or newer) and then test ota update (when it will be available) or I just could ota update 2013-10-17 build?

The keon has an internal partition that works as a sdcard (allways connected) and is used to flash new updates. You will need to flash a newer version (21 or 22) and use the fota of the next day. I just fixed this bug so it will be fixed in the next image from now.

Just updated 1.2 build 20131022134626 (00d5964eabf95a6a8a632420dfa36fc76d…) and got 1.1 again.

Yes :( Once fixed a problem in a file, seems that is not the only file that was wrong. I check all the files and now seems that all the needed changes are done. Use tonights image and you dont need to test with tomorrow. Once flashed just use adb and exec mount. If you see sdcard mounted (partition 20) then the next update will work correctly.

Thanks Stefan As you can see: /dev/block/vold/179:20 /mnt/sdcard vfat rw,dirsync,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime,uid=1000,gid=1015,fmask=0702,dmask=0702,allow_utime=0020,codepage=cp437,iocharset=iso8859-1,shortname=mixed,utf8,errors=remount-ro 0 0 /dev/block/vold/179:20 /mnt/secure/asec vfat rw,dirsync,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime,uid=1000,gid=1015,fmask=0702,dmask=0702,allow_utime=0020,codepage=cp437,iocharset=iso8859-1,shortname=mixed,utf8,errors=remount-ro 0 0 tmpfs /mnt/sdcard/.android_secure tmpfs ro,relatime,size=0k,mode=000 0 0 The internal sdcard (partition 20) now is being mounted, so in next update the download will go to sdcard and then the update will work.

This is not fixed. I saw the 179:20 partition mounted as /mnt/sdcard with the 20131023 v1.2 build, but it still prompted to to install an OTA update to v1.1 (build id 20131001050209). That 1.1 image immediately prompts to install an update to itself.

Just tired to update 20131023225434 build and for me it updates to itself (according to buildid, rev id empty) every time I check for updates…

Some changes done. It should work. We reset all the builds for keon 1.2, so now there is a flesh image that you can flash. Once done you will receive a update when it's ready.

Not so much… now updates are missing entirely, 20131028225522 seems to be the last build also for flashing.
