928527 - With v1.2 on Keon and Peak I cannot install apps via Simulator 4.0 (18.Oct)

Steps to reproduce:

I downloaded V1.2 from http://downloads.geeksphone.com/ and successfully installed on Keon and Peak.



Actual results:

The simulator Alpha (last update via FF on 18th October) shows my devices as "Device connected" but when clicking "Push" the install screen on the device does not appear BUT after a while FF shows "Failed to connect to device".


Expected results:

The "Firefox OS Device Connection Confirmation" screen shall be displayed on the device ( https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Firefox_OS_Simulator ).

I run Simulator on FF 24.0 on a Macbook Pro Retina (10.8.5).
I tried to use nightly built, same issue.
After installing "latest stable" it works fine again.

Tried with ff26 adn firefoxos 1.3 on windows 7

Confirmed with latest GP 1.2 build on Keon.

It works for me with the stable 1.1 build for Peak.

So, starting with 1.2 builds, the remote debugging connection screen does not show up on GP builds, this is not a Simulator issue, but a gecko/gaia or GP issue

The old simulator is only useful for developing for Firefox OS 1.1, which is why it was renamed to Firefox OS 1.1 Simulator 4.0:
