Details

1) Open a web page
2) Click a link
3) Click the URL bar to open the awesomescreen
4) Hit back on the browser toolbar

Expected: The awesomescreen is dismissed
Actual: The previous page is returned to in the web content, but this change is not visible because the awesomescreen is still present

Ian, is "actual" the expected behavior?
Flags: needinfo?(ibarlow)
I cannot reproduce this bug using my Galaxy 10'1 Tab and Android 3.1
After step 4 the previous page is returned to and I can see its content.
Just to be clear, are you hitting back in the Firefox UI (as opposed to Android's back button)?
Yes, I am tapping the back Firefox UI button.
This will be fixed by bug 918007. We'll disable all other toolbar elements while in editing mode. Closing this one.

I closed as WONTFIX just to make sure that no one would work on this before bug 918007 is fixed. But maybe adding a dependency is a better way to handle this.

un-needinfoing due to bug 918007

The patches for bug 918007 have landed in Nightly. You cannot use the Back button while editing anymore. Closing.

Lukas, isn't it more like this is fixed/verified in Fx 26/27?

well it was marked as fixed/verified in but 918007, so there's nothing to track for landing or uplift in this bug.
Flags: needinfo?(lsblakk)
but it's no matter to me, putting to fixed if that makes more sense to others - I just care about the tracking status of the bug.
