Batch 4

1) 4 billion Web pages - all locales
Text: The Web currently contains over 4 billion pages!
If we can do this text within 20% of the overall graphic, we can promote the post.

2) Firefox is . . . 
Trying a new series to help with desktop downloads. Firefox is . . . 
Need two graphics to start. Should have a similar look/feel but be able to stand alone, too.
Firefox is . . . .  FAST
Firefox is  . . . . SUPPORTIVE

3) Thanksgiving graphic
The status text will be: Thankful means "expressing gratitude." And we are so thankful for our 17 MILLION Facebook fans. 
So we just need a Thanksgiving-y graphic to go with it (it will be posted on Thanksgiving Day in the US, but also in other locales where it's not Thanksgiving Day.)

NOTE: We have some manifesto graphics that we need as well, but as the manifesto language isn't final, I'll submit those in a separate request.

So for the thanksgiving post - the cornucopia isn't translating well for me for some reason. 

And the post is "we are thankful for our fans" so all locales can get the post, so maybe it's something different? Maybe it's a logo with fall leaves? (That's the way we went last year.)

hmm, my fear is that other locales won't get any traditional Thanksgiving imagery. I can try something a little more logo focused with the addition of leaves, but am not sure that says being thankful either. I think the solution is to keep it more logo focused and let the actual copy do most of the speaking.

This is what I am thinking for the 4 billion post..mostly graphic focused to stay within the 20% copy rule. The idea is an open globe with many websites streaming from it!

I like the Web one! The Thanksgiving one, the logo with maybe an orange background to imply thanksgiving? (These holiday ones are hard)

I've been giving the new 'Firefox is' series some thought and am thinking something like these could work for us.  The tricky part is establishing a versatile enough look that will maintain some excitement..but also create some rules that connect them.  I've gone with a playful approach by making use of unique colour contrasts, this is something that I think will allow us to make each post unique but still tie them to the same series. Also, the use of simple icons and adding some extra expression to the font to further emphasize the word. ie the speed lines on FAST and the softer lowercase look on 'supportive'. I would carry this over depending on the word used...if performance based words are used like FAST or SECURE they word appear impactful in uppercase and if brand value words such as supportive or love are used they could appear approachable in lowercase. Let me know what you think!

I was programming this weeks Facebook posts and noticed there is an error in the ES graphic for this Friday 11/29.
It's missing a space. It's suppose to read:''Firefox es de gran ayuda''

Do you guys think we can have this fixed & uploaded here by tomorrow?

Hi Sabina, thanks for catching that mistake. I have attached an updated version. 

Also, I believe there is no PL version required this time...maybe Carmen can confirm this though.
