I see many rendering problems with page layouts in Fx24 on Windows 8.  I started with Nightly, but there were so many problems, I went to general release.  See attachments for how pages appear.  Some pages perpetually load, and although the page content is there and interactive, the layout is not, e.g. the Register.  Other sites, like YouTube, show they are loaded but layout is not.

Note: these sites render correctly in Chrome and IE on the same system.

    
    

    
  
Have you checked so (alt) View > Page Style > No Style isn't checked?
