Steps to reproduce:
1. Grab a machine running Debian Sid with KDE 4.10
2. Open Thunderbird 27.0a1 (2013-10-22)
3. Open the address book and populate it with contacts contains email addresses
4. Start a new message compostion window
5. Start typing in the first few letters of a contact's name in the address field
6. Observe
Expected results:
Address autocomplete drop down pops open and displays addresses which are related to the first key strokes.
Actual results:
Address autocomplete drop down contains invisable items. Please see attached screenshot.
You seem to have some special theme. Can you try with TB safe mode (Help->restart with addons disabled) ?
Summary: Address autocomplete drop down contains invisable items → Address autocomplete drop down contains invisible items
Theme is default. I'm guessing it looks weird because I'm running KDE with no window decorations.
So I'm silly, it seems like the "MoreFunctionsForAddressBook" was causing this, which isn't maintianed anymore sadly.
Closing out.
