It appears that Orangutan does not work unless an initial real user interaction has been made. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install Orangutan to a Firefox OS device 2. Reboot the device using: adb reboot 3. Unlock the device using: gcli unlock 4. Run ./test-orng.py --input-device /dev/input/event0 5. Enter the command swipe_left Expected results: Device shows the next page of apps Actual results: Nothing If you then manually touch the device (without launching an app) and try again, the Orangutan command is successful. This also explains bug 922709 and I'm now seeing it much more due to bug 888103.
