The 'Create new contact' option is already unavailable when tapping on a number that belongs to known contact.

Checked and it's working as expected. WORKSFORME as well (we had some issues with Contacts API in the build when testing, that's why it was not working as expected). Thanks Rick.

When a saved contact number is dialed, the dialer shows up name in a small list view below the dialed number (screen shot 1).

Also the icon (adding new contact) is enabled to go "create a new contact". 

When the dialer shows up the save contact, the icon(add a new contact) should be disabled. (screen shot 2)

Created the bug : 938500 and attached the screen shot.

Also fixed the issue and attached the patch for this bug.
