Expected results:
Firefox opens and loads the pinned website

Actual results:

Notes:

Summary: Remove "URL Protocol" from Firefox URL key by Firefox 24 Windows Installer cause jump list pinned shortcut unusable if Firefox 24 or later is set to default browser then update to latest → Remove "URL Protocol" from Firefox URL key by Firefox 24 Windows Installer cause jump list pinned shortcut unusable if Firefox 24 is set to default browser then update to latest
Note that this problem is only if you set your default browser (or install with default option checked on prewin8) in Firefox 24. You can fix this problem in Firefox 25 by setting your default in Firefox 25.

If you set your default (or install) in Firefox23, or in Firefox 25, you won't get this problem.
