Steps to reproduce:

This is a feature request for lightning. I use version 2.6.1. in the calendar mode, there is a huge waste of space below the calendar list. Consider this screenshot (not from me) from the application.

It would be useful if on could place something below the calendar list (maybe a todo list). I do not want to just remove that part of the panel because the monthly calendar above the calendar list is fairly useful.

I tried to drag and drop the task list on the right and drop it below the calendar list.


Actual results:

Nothing happened, the drag and drop does not do anything.


Expected results:

I expected the todo list do be movable anywhere in the window, including paning below the calendar list. Though I understand that this pane is an "thunderbird-wide" pane. But a similar pane only visible in the calendar tab would be useful.

FWIW, I think the devs are eventually going to allow us to put several mini months (e.g. previous/current/next) in the left pane instead of just the current month.
