User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130910160258

Steps to reproduce:

Select 2 lines of text (or more) which are close to each other. ( See attachment)
Source: www.mozilla-albania.org

When you select 2 lines of text (or more) which are close to each other, the text selection overrides the parent line. (Example: http://jsfiddle.net/DNMS7/)
This problem doesnt occur in Google Chrome

Expected results:

The selection color should be in the background of the parent line text.

It was there in my Firefox 24 when I reported about it
Yes, but I tested on my side with FF8 and it's already present, so this bug is probably reported for ages. ;)

Aha, I get you now :)

It's a pity because its annoying in some cases like the one I illustrated. However it rarely happens for websites to have so little margins between 2 lines
