When the user enters the Browser app, the default message in the URL bar is truncated.

Repro Steps:
1) Updated Buri to Build ID: 20131025004000
2) Select Greek as your language.
3) Select the Browser app.
4) Verify the default message in the URL bar is truncated.

Actual:
The default message in the URL bar is truncated.

Expected:
The default message would be fully displayed.

There is a workaround for this, similar to the one for v1.1 in bug894687 which you can inspect here http://hg.mozilla.org/gaia-l10n/el/rev/79ceb975b835
It would be useful, if anyone (from the greek team) could comment on this!

Testing with latest gaia 1.2 the URL bar string has been changed to "Διεύθυνση ή αναζήτηση" (than looks to me like a good workaround) and the string is not truncated anymore at least on Keon. I'm not sure what screen resolution the Buri device has and if it's different there, as there is no screenshot in this bug.

So this issue looks like it's resolved. And because this issue looks like a split from bug894687 to track the URL bar issue and tabs issue separately, someone should change the title of bug894687 to reflect that is is only about the tabs issue now.

This issue no longer reproduces on today's Buri COM RIL build. The string "Search or enter address" no longer appears truncated, when device is set to Greek language.

The string no longer appears truncated.
