Not sure if this was discussed in another bug but wanted to flag this. I could be wrong but based on our previous conversations, my understanding was that we would remove the Mozilla logo on the left hand side upon scrolling for desktop view. Was this reversed or is it an oversight?
The design docs had the mozilla logo & nav persistent and always visible but had the mozilla tab (tabzila) on the right disappearing on scroll. We decided against removing the mozilla tab on scroll (If i recall correctly) because it added significant complexity but we did not see any benefit to the user. Additionally (I think) the library used to do this on the firefox os site is not compatible with Mozilla's licensing and could not be used here. We would have needed to do this from scratch. Marking as wontfix unless anyone objects.
