I have a build on win32 that I pulled about 6:30 pm (which is after the 
checkings for bug 71471). I just started up in the Classic skin, and wherever 
there is a scrollbar, the thumb and slider are half-width (or half-height if 
horizontal).

This doesn't appear in the modern skin. 

Also, most (all?) buttons with text are aligned left, instead of centered. 

I'll see if I can spot what's missing, but if anyone else would like to 
have a look, please do.
Oh, and the grippy on splitters is not aligned in the center (either to the top
or to the left, instead).
Also, the thumb for a horizontal scrollbar is missing in Modern.
Confirming all this on Classic skin, Linux CVS build 2001-08-02, 5 a.m. UTC.

Might bug 93255 and bug 93257 be related?
They all seemed to appear in the same build. (running 2001080206 win98 now).

Any chance that the other recent Classic theme bugs are related? See bug 93255,
bug 93257 and bug 93317. They seem to be similar enough to have been caused by
the same "bug" ...

Yeah, these are essentially all the same bug (er, fallout from the same 
checkin).
Another defect: in the modern skin, the sidebar tabs are missing the horizontal
border in the left hand portion of each tab (the border that separates each tab
from the one above it).
There are tons of little defects here and there that need fixing.  I'll use this
bug as a basis for fixing all of 'em.

The check-in caused a serious regression: bug 93623 (personal toolbar bookmarks
drawn on top of each other)

Otherwise the Modern theme horizontal scrollbar is now OK.

Checked with a fresh CVS build on WindowsME.

In the future, please consult with one of the module owners for Composer before 
checking in changes to Composer.  You may be unaware of existing work happening 
to Composer's UI and inadvertently cause problems/conflicts or be wasting your 
time.

And on a related note, it would be nice for third party developers to know the 
exact details of:

a) what caused the defects (which XUL1.0 changes)
b) details of the fix
