Got a full showstopper when I tried to install the jre plugin using the
automation process.
I am behind a firewall preventing all ftp traffic. Knowing that I tested to see
what acutally will happen, some ftp can go through using direct connection.

I tried the Applet verification under debug and the applet didn't show up since
i didn't have the plugin installed.
The software install panel came up with only one download site available, ftp site.
Clicked ok, and hanged. Cannot click cancel, only kill process. Not to nice, huh?

-> browser-general

Unclear if this is installer or FTP. (FTP problems when installing stay w/
installer...)

reporter:
please provide a specific set of steps (I was here, I typed this, etc.)

It's not a problem with a *specific* XPI package therefore it can't be a script
problem in that package. => engine.

We should probably just get rid of the XPI Packages component.

version was 0.93, the stock version.
Sorry for long delay, have been travelling and is currently not at the other
side of the globe than the machine that I got this behaviour. There is no way
for me to try to reproduce this, if no one else can reproduce it, it's a good
thing?
