UL margin-bottom in articles is too big in nested lists

Caveat: this might just be me.

When you have a list, and in the middle of it you have another list nested inside it, then there's a big gap between the bottom of the nested list and the next item in the outer list (UL gets margin-bottom of 24px, plus the LI's padding-bottom of 12px). The gap makes it look as if items after the nested list are in a different list entirely.

I've attached a screenshot from https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Web_Console#Reflow_events to illustrate. 

I'm not sure if the gap is too big in other cases too, I just noticed this one.
