(Reporter: berwe2501, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130917102605

Steps to reproduce:

Try to configure an email account with
type SMTP+IMAP + STARTTLS
where the mail server uses self-signed certificate.
After entering all the data, tap on next, to get to the account creation step.

Actual results:

The account creation fails with "bad security".
The account is not created.

Expected results:

email account should have been created
Using Thunderbird on the desktop works fine with the same mail server, so I expected that it would also work on Firefox OS when using the identical data.
From the support forum I found out that this feature is currently not supported.
Please add this feature to the email client on Firefox OS.
