Details

For Firefox Accounts, we need: - control over the expiration time - a way to embed extra data in the assertion payload Note that this will also benefit WebRTC, which wants to embed extra parameters in the assertion.

AFAIK, we aren't planning to extend BrowserID assertions beyond what's currently supported for Sync.
