Created attachment 828107 [details] IMG-20131106-WA0000.jpg User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130910160258 Steps to reproduce: We have a HTML5 application that uses a lot of drop down selection fields and when this Orange cursor is positioned on that selection field its impossible to open up the drop down selection or close the text of the catalog selected from the drop down Does anyone know if its possible to customize this kind of orange cursor or remove it. Actual results: The Orange cursor sometimes closes fields / text that needs to be read or selected Expected results: In a earlier versions of FF (somewhere in 20 I think) this orange cursor was not there. Is there anyway to deactivate this or change it to a size that does not cause issues

I believe this is a duplicate of bug 912983 which is fixed on the Firefox 27 branch (Aurora). Can you try out Aurora http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/aurora/ and report back if that works out for you?
Summary: Orange Cursor → Floating de-attached cursor over content
Hi Aaron I downloaded the Aurora FF version and I see its v26 on my device. However you are spot on with the fix...when selecting our catalogues and the codes are presented the Orange cursor dissapears. I will test other functions in our application and supply feedback. Regards..Allan
