I don't believe these builds are maintained by Mozilla. CC'ing Chris Coulson, who's listed as an admin for the PPA's group.

aurora ppa is late too
if we can't have aurora and ppa at least , mozilla can't release .deb version
or include autoupdate in the ppa version ?
using the .taz.gz archive have some problem like plugin folder won't work

Sorry about this, but as I'm really only able to work on this in my spare time these days it's difficult trying to find the time to keep things going. We could really do with somebody else stepping up to maintain Firefox in Ubuntu. I'll try to get this running again this week
what skill is needed ?
need to know programing ? or just recompiling from source ?

I have a personal machine doing daily Jenkins builds against LLVM/Clang SVN HEAD. I have the CPU cycles to perform builds for Ubuntu as well. I don't guarantee an SLA, however. Let me know if you are interested.

Chris, could you please write somewhere what are the steps in order to build Firefox packages for Ubuntu? I can build Firefox, and I would be happy just with my self-signed Firefox packages; it would be really useful for me

It looks like the builds linked from comment #0 are fresh now. Closing this out since Mozilla doesn't provide these builds anyway.
