I'm working on crash bugs with the Desktop QA team and would like to have access to download the raw dumps on crash-stats, as well as whatever other admin panel access makes sense for me to have. Thanks!

I also need the approval of your manager ...

Not sure if this is reflected officially yet, but I am now reporting to Marc.

And I approve this request. Liz will be leading our crash investigation on Desktop from now on. Please get her access to whatever tools and data she will need for this.

Thanks.

added cn=CrashReportsAdmin,ou=groups,dc=mozilla and cn=CrashReportsRawDumpAccess,ou=groups,dc=mozilla ldap bits.

WOuld be nice if you could set your manager in LDAP (but maybe you can't).

Were in the middle of a small re-org. It should all get announced shortly. I'm actually not sure what is holding it all up and I'm trying to figure that out.

Hi there, I'm back from a 2-month leave and just took a look at my permissions in Socorro. I don't seem to have any admin access as listed at https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/permissions/, logged in as ehenry@mozilla.com. If someone could take a look that would be great. Thanks!

You have the bit sets :

cn=CrashReportsAdmin,ou=groups,dc=mozilla
cn=CrashReportsRawDumpAccess,ou=groups,dc=mozilla

I'll 302 to webops to have a look.

About two months ago, we moved away from LDAP entirely.

Now instead, you sign in with Persona and hope that someone's given you the appropriate permissions.
This means that everyone and anyone can sign in, but it doesn't mean anything until you've been associated with permissions (aka. groups).

The man in charge, I think, of managing this is Kairo. He can find you by email address (make sure to tell him which email address you used to Persona your way in) and he'll give you the appropriate permissions.

Right, Kairo?

Yes, I'll take a look at this early on Monday (I'm at FOSDEM right now and don't have enough time to look into things while I'm here). If you require it earlier, please email me on my mozilla.com account.
Added ehenry@mozilla.com to the Hackers group, so things should work again. :)
