User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131028112627

Steps to reproduce:

A master password is used and sync (kind of) successfully set up. (I have problems with password syncing, but that should be another issue).

Here are the steps that stop the UI of firefox working correctly:

1. Open Firefox with master password and sync setup.
2. Directly open Preferences -> Security -> Saved passwords
--> A popup asking for the master password should pop up.
3. DON'T fill inthe password and wait some seconds.
--> A new popup should come up asking for the master password. This popup seems to come from firefox sync! (Without sync I cannot reproduce this step)

4. Type the password in the new master password prompt (for sync)

5. Type the password in the first master password prompt (for showing the passwords list)

Actual results:

After having entered the password for the password list, this list does not appear.
Furthermore, if I click on "Saved Passwords" again, it will not appear.
These steps also didn't help:

Closing the preferences and reopen them. Click on saved passwords

Closing firefox, wait some seconds, open firefox again, open the preferences, click on saved passwords

The only thing that helps is a 'killall firefox' after having closed firefox with the 'x' button.

For more details take a look at the attached video.

Expected results:

Expected results:
The password list is showing up, Buttons can be clicked etc.

More information:
Why do I come to firefox sync: I tried to reproduce this problem with another popup asking for the master password. But the bug didn't appear there...

More precisely: firefox without sync enabled, master password is enabled, password for a site is saved:

idea 1. Open firefox, open the settings -> Security -> saved passwords. Then open the site with the saved password. This will not ask for a master password again! So it is not reproduceable here

idea 2. Open firefox, open the site with the saved password. This will ask for the master password. Open then the 'saved passwords'. Now enter the passwords in an arbitrary order. The password list will show up, no matter which order you've chosen.

Conclusion: It seems to be an issue only with the password dialog poping up for firefox sync.
Ah, the systems, with which I have tested:

Ubuntu 12.04 64bit. Firefox 25
Ubuntu 13.04 64bit. Firefox 25

If you have questions, need more information or logfiles, please ask.
Sync needs to request that you enter your MP in order to get your credentials to sync with.

Is there anything in the error console as you go through your steps?
