93597 - Crash when closing Appearance category of preferences

After opening all sub-items of Navigator, Composer, Mail and Newsgroups, Privacy
and Security, the list of categories doesn't fit in the window reserved for
them, and there's no scrollbar.  So, I chose to close Appearance, and Mozilla
crashed.  This crash is reproducible every time.  I'm using the RPM of Mozilla
0.9.3 for Red Hat Linux 7.x/x86 available at mozilla.org.

if you think this particular bug is *not* a duplicate, please provide a
compelling reason, as well as check a recent *trunk* build (on the appropriate
platform[s]), before reopening.
