Firefox for Android Nightly and Aurora The fix for bug 780379 lets Firefox show a prompt when opening links which can be managed by a helper app, e.g. for http://qthttp.apple.com.edgesuite.net/1010qwoeiuryfg/0150_vod.m3u8 It looks like this ["Complete action using"] ["Download"] ["Google Video Player"] ["Just once"] ["Always"] This sounds a bit odd because "Google Video Player" is an app and "Download" is an action. Could "Download" be changed in something more app-like? At the moment, "Download" seems to be the only available action, so is "&brandShortName; (Download)" an option?
Applications are not the only items you'll see in those lists on Android. Several other applications will add "Copy to Clipboard" to the picker, and this is not an application either. I should note that the list is showing Activities, not Applications. The system allows applications to inject their own activities into the list - things you will never see listed in the Apps Tray. All that said, we could change the string to "Save to File", but "Download" works for me too.

I'm ok with "Download" for the same reason Mark mentioned -- the options Android provides aren't always apps, they can be other actions as well.

Closing this then.
