From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT 5.0) BuildID: 2001080110 The window size when creating a new account in mail/news is not big enough to include the SMTP server text box. You can tab into it and enter text, but you can't see the box or what you are typing. The vertical size of the window needs to be bigger. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to mail/news 2. edit->Mail/News account settings-> new account 3. enter info, use defaults if you like, until you reach the server type selection page, choose IMAP or POP 4. on the next page, you will be prompted for the name of the server, notice that you can't see the SMTP text box Actual Results: Can't see the smtp server box. You can type stuff and tab through until you get into the menu boxes though Expected Results: SMTP server box should be visible.
What is your screen resolution set to? I have 1024x768 on my WinMe system and it appears ok.

Trunk build 2001-12-13-03: WinMe (1280 x 1024), appears ok on my system. Reporter, can you try with a more recent build?
Target Milestone: mozilla0.9.9 → mozilla1.2
Trunk build 2002-02-14-03: WinMe I was able to duplicate a problem when running with screen resolution 1600x1200, using Large Fonts. (It was ok with 1600x1200 using standard font size) Another user, Gail, reports a problem in Win 2k running 1600x1200, and manually tweaking the windows appearance: - Title bars set to size: 28 - Fonts set to Tahoma 10
