Steps to reproduce:

I have downloaded the latest version of Firefox but when I come to install it I get the splash screen telling me it is extracting, this then disappears and nothing else happens. I have tried installing several times but nothing happens. what is wrong and how is it rectified.


Actual results:

Spash screen appears informing me that the program is extracting and then nothing.  I have doen a complete removal and reinstall but get the same result


Expected results:

Firefox should have just installed as normal

I'm going to assume you're not still having this problem, but the most likely cause is being out of hard disk space.

What do they say about assuming?  Still having the problem and as there is over 12GB available on the drive, I don't think disk space is a problem
