The animation of page index at the top of the screen seems so laggy.

Are you talking about the page index on homescreen ?

I think it's a dup. of Bug 920921. And after Bug 939392 is landed, it will be better.
Verified on master, I think laggy issue is fixed after bug 939392 landed.
