Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801
BuildID: 2001080110

The mail icon in the status bar displays a green arrow when new messages have
arrived. If I have a browser window open in the foreground, and a mail client
window open in the background, sometimes only the icon in the mail window will
display the green arrow. The browser window's icon will not display the green arrow.

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this reliably. It only seems to happen when I
am doing something in the browser window (like typing in an input field) and a
new message arrives passively. If I click the "Get msg" button in the mail
client window, all icons appear to be updated properly. Stragely, when I bring
the mail window to the foreground, its icon no longer displays the green arrow,
but the browser window in the background does display it.

I've gotten it while receiving mail from Bugzilla, if that is any help...

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Bring up the mail client window, then bring up a browser window so it is in
the foreground and the mail window is in the background.
2. Send a message to the Mozilla mail account. The mail account should be set up
to use POP.
3. In the browser window, go to a page with an input field. Type something in
the input element and leave the focus in it while waiting for the message to arrive.
4. When the message arrives, the status bar mail icon should display a green arrow.

Actual Results: Only the icon in the status bar of mail window displays the
green arrow. The browser window's mail icon does not display a green arrow.

Expected Results: All status bar icons should display the green arrow, i.e. the
browser window's mail icon should also display a green arrow.
