User Story:
As a user, when I update my OS, I want to be made aware that my Browser bookmarks have been migrated to my homescreen as well as how to edit those bookmarks, so that I am not caught offguard by the change.

Acceptance Criteria:
1. After updating to the new OS version which includes the bookmark migration, I am made aware that my former Browser bookmarks are now on my homescreen.
2. After updating to the new OS version which includes the bookmark migration, I am made aware that I can now edit and how to edit bookmarks on the homescreen.

do you guys think it's a better idea to put the bookmarks into a smart-collection instead of smack in the middle of the home screen? having a bunch of bookmarks can clutter your homescreen pretty badly right after migration.

I've attached an update to the bookmark migration tutorial.

Also, to answer the smart collection question, I feel that adding the bookmarks to a smart collection might be confusing for users as currently smart collections are not really used in this way. They tend to suggest applications rather than folder together existing ones. We don’t want to confuse homepage grouping with smart collections and once we are able to improve the grouping mechanism on the homepage, it will help out with the additional icons on the screen.

I'm currently working on the final videos and should have them ready for end of day Thursday. Thanks!

Hey Ted, can you implement the new string with the current video as a placeholder?
There's some higher priority work I need to focus on first, but we can open a bug to replace the video to the final once ready. Thanks!

How do we not have assets this and are in our last week of FL? I don't think we can realistically expect this to get done not having assets.

Being in our last week of FL this is a bad idea - we can't land anything broken to master, so we need the real assets. We may be able to start development on them though.

Are we ok punting this out of 2.1?

The video for this is almost identical to the existing video. Given that the video needs to be a reflection of the shipping product, it basically needs to be produced after everything else is done (like the icon prioritization). When we did this previously we used a stub video (the current one can be used) and swapped it out after FL. There is a string, however, accompanying it so that needs to be in by FL.

We do need it done in 2.1 since this is the only place that we explain what happened to a user's bookmarks.

It seems like we generally "fuzz" the finer details and that they don't matter too much. Also I'm not sure how much they impact bookmark migration, but if we already have a video let's just get this in.

Ted - do you have an ETA on this since it's a 2.1 feature?
Eric suggested that I could use the vertical homescreen video as a placeholder, so that's what I'm going to do. ETA in the next day or two. We'll have to swap the video later.

We need the actual video before the end of the week to ensure that the filesize isn't too big.

Yes, I'm planning to have the videos updated for end of this week. Sorry for the delay, there's a lot going on and I think everyone has been swamped.

Candice, this user story bug doesn't have dependencies. It is what you expected? Are we still targeting to land it in 2.1? If we are, please feel free to change the feature-b2g flag back to 2.1 and ni to Fabrice to see if we could allow this to be landed in 2.1. Thanks.

I've been informed that this will be fixed once bug 1054352 lands so adding the dependency.

Gregor - This is still planned for 2.1, right? Just want to make sure that QA should still allocate resources to support testing here.

After OTA from 2.0 to 2.1, the Update experience videos explain that users bookmarks have been moved to homescreen before explaining how to edit said bookmarks. The tutorial migration screen text strings are correct. The tutorial videos explaining bookmark migration are current and represent the latest UI changes. As per spec, updating to 2.1 from an earlier build than 2.0 user is not notified of bookmark migration in FTU update experience screens.
