Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20131025151332 Steps to reproduce: 1) Pin a tab 2) Open another tab 3) Ctrl + TAB from that tab to go to the pinned tab 4) CTRL + TAB again to go to the non-pinned tab Actual results: The shortcut CTRL + TAB did not working. CTRL + SHIFT + TAB neither. Expected results: The shortcut should have worked.
Hi grenouillounette, I just gave this a try and couldn't replicate it. Do you have any add-ons that might be causing this? Can you check in Firefox Safe mode to see if it still happens? Thanks! https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

Hi lizzard, I tried safe-mode and didn't notice any change. But I also tried to pin another website and it worked as expected. So it appears it is only on the particular website I pinned, my bad. I don't think this has anything to do with Firefox but if you want to check it, it is http://ticktick.com/#q/All/tasks (you have to be registered and connected so that it happens - the homepage is OK). I also noticed there are other websites that don't work when you scroll tabs with CTRL + TAB, and not only when they are pinned. www.prizee.com for example, when you are on the page of a game -> it scrolls between the elements of the games instead of the tabs, is it flash or something that is causing that ? Thanks :) /Adrien.

Hi grenouillounette, oh, that explains it. Yes, this is a known issue with particular plugins that take over the window focus. See comment 638 on bug 78414: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78414#c638 At least I think that's the canonical explanation of what's happening, and there is some work on fixing some of the underlying issues. Thanks for your report, and for coming back to explain further!
