On dev.planning, Ed Morley said he would like to see us abandon the "b123456" and "b=123456" syntax for defining the primary bug in commit messages. I too feel this is a good idea and am filing the bug.
It would be nice if we could change the acceptable commit message check to look for a set of well-defined prefixes. e.g. "Bug \d+" "Merge" "Backed out changeset" "Tag" "NO BUG". But, I suspect that's considerably more work. The one-liner to remove the b=\d syntax is the easy ticket.
