TO REPRODUCE:
1. Open the Contacts app.
2. Click on the 'Settings' button.
3. Click on the "Sync friends" switch or the "Update imported friends" if already authenticated with Facebook.
4. Cancel the synchronisation.

EXPECTED
5. The synchronisation is canceled, the contacts Settings page is shown and it responds to further user actions (such as clicking additional buttons).

ACTUAL:
5. The synchronisation is canceled, the contacts Settings page is shown but it does not responde to any further user actions (such as clicking additional buttons). Consequently the whole Contacts app ends up unresponsive forcing the user to close the app via the app switcher or manager.
