Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010802 BuildID: 2001080214 While I am running the 0.9.3 Release, the amount of memory used by Mozilla (shown in the 'About This Computer' dialog) gradually increases in 1 MB chunks over time. If I am using the browser actively, and switching between browsing and mail, I can get it to increase by over 1MB/5 minutes. After one session, memory usage went from 40MB to over 90MB! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Mozilla 2. Use Mozilla 3. Actual Results: Memory usage kept going up Expected Results: Usage should have stayed the same
Marking INVALID. Reporter, Mozilla makes use of temporary memory to store data as you work. As long as there is memory available, Mozilla will use it. This makes Mozilla work better. The System reports this temporary memory usage as used by the application.
