Details

I've attempted to save several web pages to my local hard disk using the save as
option both by right clicking on the document and selecting 'save as' as well as
using the file menu and selecting 'save as'.

Each and every time the browser crashes.

The URL supplied is an example. The problem occurs with all web pages tried.

I've just moved up to rv 0.9.3

Have you installed mozilla 0.9.3 in a fresh directory ?
(if not and you installed it over 0.9.2: uninstall mozilla and reinstall it)

and you should try it with a new profile (run "mozilla -profilemanager")

If that doesn't fix your problem, you should try it with a talkback enabled
build. After talkback submitted the crash run
"Install-dir\components\talkback.exe" and poste the Talkback ID# in this bug.

Thanks
  Matthias
Thanks for the heads-up. Yes installing in a new directory has resolved the
problem.

fixed is the wrong solution, i would mark it worksforme or invalid.
But we want to collect this problems with "installed over an older build"
-> dupe of 93687

BTW: Thanks for your fast answer !
