As in https://wiki.mozilla.org/DXR_UI_Refresh#Search_Results, add a label above the search results, something like "Results from the __<tree name>__ tree:", linking <tree name> to a file-browsing view of the root of the tree. If the number of results is available to the template, which I don't think it is, add that too. This link gives the user an escape hatch back to the root in one click rather than two (some search result's dir and then the breadcrumb from there) and reinforces that the results are in fact scoped to the tree selected above.
