There's a bit of "Holy Rectangles, Batman" going on on the AS page. :-) I think the alignment and spacing are communicative enough on their own that we could get rid of the background color behind the labels and the rectangles around each group of fields without hurting comprehension. In fact, I bet the increase in contrast and reduction in noise would make it *more* scannable.
