93903 - pressing the tab key causes odd behaviour

Description

click into the webpage area and pressing tab can cause irregular behaviour, from
complete freezing to a long wait before the user can regain control of moz.
occationally the the mouse cursor will disapear from the moz application area
during this time.

always reproducable one win98se, 0.9.3 release

Are you seeing this on every page (like this one) ?
Have you installed mozilla 0.9.3 in a fresh directory ?
(if not and you installed it over 0.9.2: uninstall mozilla and reinstall it)
and you should try it with a new profile (run "mozilla -profilemanager")

works for me, 0.9.3 on Win98 SE ... sounds like a bad installation or problems
with Win98 system, not Mozilla.

reinstalled (removed all $windir files) and it seems to be something in my
profile. tab bashing may halt moz or may take a lot of time to recover from, but
tab bashing thereafter causes no problems.

tab bashing causes no problems on a new profile.

will continue to investigate...

marking worskforme (corrupt profile)

you can try to repair your profile with (backup your old Profile first):
close Mozilla
delete Profile\localstore.rdf
delete all files in profile\chrome (you will loose all installed custom Themes 
and lanuguage packs)
