Dialing sip:justdave@mozilla.com is supposed to work. It connects but gives me an invalid extension error. Looking at the log shows it's resolving to ext 237 properly but sending the call into the wrong context. I could swear this used to work, no clue when it broke. Probably been ages because I haven't touched it in a long time.
Discovered this because I was seeing a lot of attempts by someone to place calls to Israel through our system using this gateway (which all failed of course) and it wasn't logging the IP address of the remote caller so I couldn't block them for mischief.

rewrote most of this section of the dialplan tonight, made it much more robust, and give useful messages to the callers via audio for invalid extensions (reads off to them how to get to the main phone tree). Also made it correctly work with extensions that are in remote offices (but not email addresses - that still depends on the local voicemail box existing on the mountainview server). And the real bonus, it now logs the remote IP address in a way that can be easily detected by fail2ban for excessive attempts on invalid numbers.
