User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; Trident/7.0; Touch; .NET4.0E; .NET4.0C; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Tablet PC 2.0; InfoPath.3; MALNJS; rv:11.0) like Gecko Steps to reproduce: I checked on support.microsoft.com/gp/lifecycle for end of support on Windows XP. They said that Microsoft will cut off support for Windows XP effective April 2014 and want to find out if Mozilla will cut off support for Windows XP on Firefox. Actual results: Mozilla wants to become a browser that keeps Windows XP support for long term according to neowin.net which is "Mozilla to support Firefox on Windows XP after Microsoft ends support for the OS". Expected results: Sooner or later before April 2014, Mozilla Firefox should not work on Windows XP because it is a risk to use legacy computers to browse the internet. If a browser maker supports windows XP, they are encouraging security issues. The only way to stay secure on the internet is to use modern version of Windows... keeping browsers up to date is not enough which is why Mozilla is not supposed to keep supporting Windows XP.. Web browsers are the role models to cybersecurity. It is a major security risk to keep Firefox supported on Windows XP.. Please stop XP support asap...

30% of our users are still on XP, so simply dropping them isn't an option.

(In reply to Justin Dolske [:Dolske] from comment #1) > 30% of our users are still on XP, so simply dropping them isn't an option. I would like you, the maker of the browser named Firefox to stop supporting Windows XP as quickly as possible. 30% of the people should disconnect the internet if they are not ready to buy P.C's with more than 4GB of RAM.. If they don't want to buy new computers... they should disconnect the internet and save some money.... Most of the 30% of the XP users are people who are old age adults who can't handle powerful and reliable computers. Tell them it is a risk to use XP, if they can't use Windows 7 SP1 or higher, they can save some money by disconnecting their internet. No ISP will accommodate them because of rising internet speeds. Internet is not supposed to work for people who don't require more than 4GB of System RAM. Please drop them as quickly as possible. Browser companies should be aware that it is not safe to be on the net with unsupported operating system, it is extremely dangerous. Browser companies should educate consumers risks of people who continue to use Windows XP.. You can cut down jobs anytime if you loose customers who are not ready for next generation web on computers using Windows 7 SP1 or higher..
