Description:
The Bookmarks tab in the awesome bar of the browser is truncated when the device is set to the Spanish language.

Repro Steps:

2) Set the device language to Spanish then restart the device.
3) Launch the browser then tap the URL textbox.
4) Observe the three tabs on the awesome bar

This was en English too. And I think we can not shorten this.
Absolutely. We cannot shorten the word used to translate 'Bookmarks' (and we won't change it to another, since it is one of the "brand sign" of Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox vs. other browsers, that use 'Favorites').

There is clearly room available to expand the tab width (maybe the three tabs, not just the Bookmarks one). Delphine, how can we set the UX need-info flag?
Maybe we can do what the fr team did:

https://hg.mozilla.org/gaia-l10n/fr/file/5e27bda90f1f/apps/browser/browser.properties#l55

I *really* hate that approach (UX problem, not l10n), but maybe we can do an exception here...

I'm not so against this technique (I'm assuming the key is already part of browser.properties, not one we should add by ourselves), but if English also has this problem, shouldn't the fix start by en-US widening the Bookmarks tab?

I don't see a bookmarks.style.maxWidth key in Transifex UI nor in en-US repo, so I wouldn't follow fr move. Again, if en-US is also hit by this, let's see first how master language fixes it.

Just to be clear: there is nothing we can do in Spanish to fix this unless the tab is made wider.
@Ricardo, we can do the thing on comment #3, but I am really against that, and I would prefer not to open that box.
Me neither.
This issue still occurs on the 2.0 and 1.4 Flame builds:

No need to add comments with your environmental variables for issues previously written. Only update the tracking flag and add the whiteboard tag.

Just to be clear, we can't/won't fix this by changing the word used to translate Bookmarks into Spanish. As there is available room to make tabs wider, styling-related keys should be added to l10n files in order to allow other languages prevent this problem.

We've stopped shipping Firefox OS for phones. Thus resolving this as WONTFIX.
