Steps to reproduce:

Hi to all Mozilla folks,

I've found a graphical issue with Mozilla Thunderbird 24.1.0 on Windows XP Professional SP3 32 bits. I don't know about other Windows version nor other platforms.

I don't know how to reproduce this bug exactly, so I'll try to describe as much as I can with some screenshots instead.


Actual results:

This issue happens on the Thunderbird's main window.

■1. Here I have several subjects, each representing an email conversation. "Where's the issue?" you may think. The message menu (F8) isn't displayed sometimes when selecting a subject with a conversation.

■2. When selecting a subject with a single email message, the message menu is displayed properly.

■3. But sometimes this message menu DOES appears for the email conversations!

Expected results:

Well, this message menu for conversations should be appear when selecting its subject at the Tb's main window, shouldn't it?

1. your images are gone.  please always attach your screen shots to the bug report using "Add an attachment"
2. please always reproduce problem with thunderbird in safe mode and state in bug report that safe mode was tested
