Details

Using build 2001080108, I found that I could easily cause blank gray bars to
appear along the sides is I scaled the page arounh (which, on my setup, is
ctrl+mousewheel).

Perhaps a lingering bug in the HTML core? A XUL problem? I'm not sure.
Also happens here: http://www.sfu.ca/~ccovell/NESTechFAQ.html
does creating a new profile via ./mozilla -profileManager fix this?
No.

This seems to be the HTML core not being able to scale.

i see it on the URL in this bug, but that's the only place i've seen this bug
till now.
Slim gray areas appear on right and left side of content, when scaling of fonts
go down to 80 % and lower. Confirming bug.

This looks like bug 96156, which has a better test case. I'll leave it up to
Marc to dup, though.
