In the June 2013 WBGP, Firefox 22 was 2x slower than Chrome 27 on RIABench's "Memory Management" tests: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/chrome-27-firefox-21-opera-next,3534-6.html http://media.bestofmicro.com/L/A/390862/original/RIAJS.png On Naveed's Windows test machine, Firefox 22 and 25 were both 3x slower than Chrome 27 and 31.

The memory management test suffers from the same problem of the 2D Test. It's the hardware acceleration that makes Firefox so slow, on Windows 7.
