So you knew when the trees were closed when you were oncall and if it was an IT reason or something else that closed the trees.

Opening bug since there is nothing confidential in here & we should be open by default.
IMO we should delete this nagios checks, for the reasons given in bug 931079 and bug 1025401, since the vast majority of alerts will be for non-infra, and for the infra ones, the sheriffs will already file a bug that will cause someone to be paged, if necessary.

I honestly don't have skin in this game today. There used to be a period where people were quick to jump and point fingers at IT for closed trees, but I guess we're well past that. I'm fine with whatever decision helps everyone.
