In an ideal world we would add the following components to Firefox:
@BINPATH@/components/NetworkStatsManager.js
@BINPATH@/components/NetworkStatsManager.manifest

If we add these components, we could base this off of the dom.mozNetworkStats.enabled preference.

A quicker fix may just be adding yet another shim to gaia - I'm looking at that option now.

This patch is not yet working, but it has the basis of what needs to happen. We get further in the startup path, but we still don't finish it quite yet.

Turns out with the current patch, if I back out bug 930104 it seems much better (we actually get to the first screen). I'm working with Alex to see if we can find a solution instead of backing that one out.

We want to be able to launch the Cost Control application inside of Firefox Nightly. Unfortunately some APIs are missing, but we may be able to enable these for non-release builds.
