On a VM that I had been running Fireofx, but that has never had Nightly installed, I installed Nightly with a build that already had Australis in it (today's nightly).
When downloading things, no download button showed up.
I had to manually customize to get the downloads button on the toolbar.
It's possible something screwy just happened on my machine, but I wanted to file this in case anyone else can reproduce it.

Which version of Firefox was the VM running, do you recall?

And to be clear, when you started up the Nightly with Australis, your Downloads button was in the *palette*, available for you to drag to a toolbar? Or did entering customize mode reveal the button on the toolbar with you having to do anything else?

It's hard to prioritize when there's no solid STR. We'll need to poke around with various builds/ profiles.
